This is an exciting new full time, permanent position which will provide an exciting opportunity to train and progress with a forward thinking Company.
The Mistras Group design, manufacture and install Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) systems for critical infrastructures globally. The SHM Systems are designed to monitor the integrity of various structures, such asbridges, wind turbines, oil rigs and other Oil and Gas structures to identify damage mechanisms and behaviours in order to look out for early warning of potential damage caused by the environments they operate in.
Reporting to the Operations manager, this role will support the Operations Team with management of the building, equipment, stores and fleet management in our Bridgend Office. Youll need to liaise with office staff, site staff and suppliers to ensure our management and technicians have the support they need to successfully deliver our core services.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure general order/upkeep of the stores location in the Bridgend Operations
- To ensure there is a constant controlled supply of equipment and essential tools, stored in a safe and secure manner and in accordance with the supplier guidelines to support our Operations team.
- Preparation of requested job kits and manifests to meet operational requirements.
- Arrangement of shipments of kit both nationally and internationally around job planning.
- To track and carry out routine equipment checks in line with legal or procedural requirements.
- Support and help the control of company vehicles (i.e., Vehicle checklist. Tax, MOT etc)
- Development of procedures relating to equipment servicing with QHSE team.
- Management of building facilities and utilities.
- To maintain and manage all necessary records of goods stored and dispatched, within our Asset Management System whilst monitoring stock levels, keeping to an absolute minimum any obsolete stock.
- Proactively seek out and identify areas for improvement and ways to optimise spend.
