Job description
- Reporting to the Head of ESG, the Sustainability Manager will work with key stakeholders to design, develop and manage the implementation of new environmental and social impact propositions that deliver against F1’s Sustainability Strategy. They will be responsible for ensuring that our fans, partners and wider members of the F1 community are part of the action.
- Developing new impact propositions from concept, through to stakeholder buy in, to handing over operational delivery to the appropriate teams
- Creating network of delivery partners internally and externally to support delivery globally
- Ensuring impact against our strategic aims remains central to all new propositions and is consistently measured and evaluated
- Working with wide stakeholder groups including but not limited to fans, partners, broadcasters and F1 Teams to understand how we can further develop our impact
- Creating presentations and writing copy related to our Sustainability delivery
- Keep abreast of changes to ESG landscape and practices to ensure our business retains its leading position in the industry
- Extensive experience in new proposition development and project design across Environment & Social Impact programmes
- Background in supporting operational delivery of these programmes – particularly in relation to sports and international events.
- Proven ability to lead, implement and deliver sustainability commitments on time and within budget, and to work within a high profile, commercial environment.
- A collaborative team player with internal and external stakeholder management capabilities;
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to represent F1 in public speaking engagements and written communications
- An ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment, with a commercial and pragmatic working style.
