The Role
Environmental Manager.
An exciting opportunity for an Environmental Manager in Lambeth has arisen. We are looking for a person with extensive Section 86/7 experience. Working as part of the Management team within a large, diverse and interesting contract. You will need to be flexible, enjoy a challenge and be passionate about the world around you.
The role requires you to be community minded, so understanding local community stakeholders’ requirements. These include residents, retailers, and visitors to the Lambeth Borough.
Do you have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role?
Have you worked in Enforcement or parking management before?
What you’ll be expected to do, but not limited too,
- Seek to Create Safer Neighbourhood teams to ensure Local Business Districts can thrive without the disruption of enviro-crime and parking contraventions.
- Managing a team of EE Supervisors
- Monitor budget and contract spend in relation to uniform, stationary and other supplies ensuring cost control.
- Manage resources including ensuring effective deployment of colleagues throughout the contract ensuring contractual requirements are met.
- You will monitor enforcement activity, involving regular reporting on Key Performance Indicators to Contract Manager, identifying trends and instigating remedial action where necessary.
The Candidate
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
- The understanding of budgetary controls and cost variances.
- The ability to monitor KPI’s and preparation of reports.
- Understanding of Human Resources process and procedures, primarily grievances and disciplinaries.
- Data analysis and data collection.
- Fully IT proficient.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Desirable: Formal management qualification.
