We are looking for a self motivated qualified Officer to join our Food Safety Team. You will deliver the full range of food hygiene interventions, investigate cases of infectious disease, conduct proactive and reactive sampling and deal with complaints.
You will advise and support businesses to comply with the law and take proportionate and effective enforcement action where necessary. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join us on our journey through the remainder of the Food Standards Agency Local Authority recovery plan and beyond. We are a small, highly ambitious team and we welcome applications from those new to the profession and from those with varying levels of experience.
To be successful you will need…
- A degree or equivalent in Environmental Health.
- A Certificate of Registration awarded by the EHRB or its predecessor
- Experience of food safety in a regulatory environment.
