The position is within the Energy & Environment team based in Trostre, which provides advice and technical support to the business and takes the lead engaging with external parties in the field of environmental & energy engineering. The successful candidate will work closely within a small team on a wide range of improvement projects and activities within the business.
The Role
Work carried out will involve supporting and contributing to the successful delivery of a range of projects focussed on improving the environmental and energy performance of key equipment and processes at our manufacturing sites. This will include the use of on-site measurement, complex data analysis and application of engineering theory to solve process issues in our manufacturing areas. Projects will require close collaboration with personnel on operational sites which are in some cases high hazard facilities and require work within challenging environments.
The Candidate
To be eligible for this placement you should be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree in an Engineering or Science related subject, be interested in environmental, energy or process engineering and have a desire to learn from a team of experienced engineers.

The site has already made significant progress in reducing it’s impact on the environment and is looking for an enthusiastic graduate to support continued progress as they look to reduce their carbon footprint and ensure we continue to look after the delicate ecosystems located around the site!
