With the significant growth in the demand for sustainability and green recovery post COVID, our business is now at a pivotal stage in its evolution, with an innovative new online product launched and additional new corporate products under trial and development. To sustain our growth and deliver to our planned brand and financial objectives, we need additional support in our technical assessment team.
The Environment and Sustainability Assessor (Green Meetings) will work within our established technical team to drive environmental best practise in businesses, cultivate positive relationships and provide relevant, empowering, and actionable advice and support to our members and partners. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge and understanding of the meetings and Events Industry and be able to guide and provide support to businesses as well as the ability to further develop our products and services in this area. excellent communication skills, knowledge and interest in environmental and sustainability sector and has a keen desire to learn. The role:
The Environment and Sustainability Assessor (Green Meetings) role will include a combination of online support, advice and account management and occasional site visits to businesses across the UK and Ireland. Using our on-line platform GreenCheck™ and other tools you will provide advice to businesses on aspects relating to our Green Meetings certification programme, Green Tourism certification programme and other standards and services. You will be the Meeting and Events industry lead for the company working with key accounts You will work from home 3 days a week and be required to travel to the office the other 2 days a week which is in Perth.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for follow up calls to prospective and current customers technical enquiries
- Provide phone and email support to all customers ensuring maximum retention rates
- Carry out engaging and informative GreenCheckTM online assessments
- Manage time effectively to ensure maximum benefit to the clients
- Create informative and well-presented written reports for businesses
- Provide exceptional customer service to all current and potential clients.
- Work within the technical team, to help criteria development as well as the development of members’ technical information (i.e., case studies, factsheets, E-newsletter articles, Blog/Vlog pieces etc.)
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Green Meetings programme.
- Provide phone and email support to members ensuring they engage positively with the GreenCheckTM tool
- Champion and strive to provide exceptional customer service to all current and potential clients
- Liaise and work with organisation within the meetings and Events industry to promote the Green Meetings certification programme,
- Undertake development projects as directed by the Management Team

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
