Do you have excellent customer service and phone skills as well as great admin experience?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Credit Controller.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be trained on the job whilst working your way towards having your own portfolio of clients, which could be handed over to you after 12 months or sooner depending on your progress.
Whilst in training you will be assigned a senior ‘buddy’ whom you will provide admin support to on a portfolio of clients.

Main duties will include:
Initial Admin tasks to support the Credit Control Team:
- Allocating client receipts
- Adhoc reports
- Updating internal data for KPI’s
You will be trained to take over the following:
Daily credit control for a number of key clients by means of fulfilling specified and set tasks.
Reconciliation of bank accounts in Xero.
Production of specifically detailed reports from Xero pertaining to each client.
Ensure that credit risk is understood and controlled, cash collection is maximised and that targets are met
Ensure credit control procedures are followed and assist in the further development of the credit control function
Liaising with teams internally regarding client invoicing queries
Assist with the production of cash flow forecasts
Assist with review of credit limits
Assisting with the analysis of financials in spreadsheets and highlighting any discrepancies.
Keying in relevant information into Xero to support the teams.

Ad-hoc tasks including additional reporting
Dealing with high pressure and time-sensitive issues on the phone and via email

Salary £21k per annum
25 days holiday increasing to 30 days with length of service
