British Security Technologies is growing and we are currently looking for an administrative assistant on a short term contract (6 months) to support the team with the set up and introduction of our new business software. The day to day would be working alongside our office manager reviewing and inputting data from one system into another. There will also be opportunities to pick up on other ad-hoc duties when required.
British Security Technologies is a NSI Gold & UKAS certified installer operating in London and the South East specialising in both Domestic and Commercial Security Solutions (Burglar Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Systems).
With over 30 years of experience in delivering specialised security solutions at the highest level, we’ve built a strong foundation based on customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth recommendation. To date we have operated as a nimble and agile unit but we are now looking to expand the business and grow the core team. Not only will you be joining at an exciting and pivotal time, you will be an integral part in shaping the future of the business.
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Ability to work within a Team to perform duties.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office / Google Suite and Outlook services.
- Ability to adjust to new Software.
- Organizational skills
- Data Entry - ensuring all record systems are up to date.
- A want to support the growth and success of the company.

- Ensure all deadlines are met while keeping on top of other Ad-hoc duties..
Please also note, You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role and candidates must have no criminal convictions and be able to pass all DBS checks.

This is an office based entry level position located in the SE London area. Preference will be given to candidates living in Dulwich/Streatham/Sydenham/ Crystal Palace or adjoining areas.
