Entertainments Technical Supervisor

As our Entertainments Technical Supervisor, you will work closely with our Entertainments Technical Manager, managing your team who are responsible for delivering all Resort Events across the whole season. This includes ensuring that all works are delivered safely, against brief, on time and on budget. You will support with the overall look and feel of the events assisting with the design, installation, delivery and maintenance across each period. Taking responsibility for implementing schedules of works, maximising efficiencies maintaining assets and managing the team, all whilst delivering the highest possible production values. As our Entertainments Technical Supervisor Role you will model best practice in-line with H&S procedures and protocols; the role will be the lead trainer for all team members across disciplines such as Audio Visual (AV), Scenic and Production.
What is it we’re looking for in a successful candidate?
- Significant in-depth knowledge of entertainment industry technical systems including lighting, audio, video, rigging, show control and specific special effect equipment
- Working knowledge of BS7909 and BS7671 and entertainment industry electrical systems
- Working knowledge and experience in LOLER, PUWER, EAWR, HASAWA and other H&S legislation
- Ability to assist in the design and programming, carry out troubleshooting of highly specified safety legislation
- Working knowledge of ethernet/network-based systems
- Experience and knowledge of one or more of the following systems – Qsys, Medialon, Alcorn McBride, Vista, Pharos, Hippotizer, 7th Sense, Digico/Yamaha/Allen and Heath Mixing Desks
- Planning, scheduling, and time management skills
- Strong ability to train, coach and develop others effectively

This role is Full Time, Permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include some weekends and bank holidays during peak times, as the business requires. Ensuring our employees have a work-life balance is extremely important to us (we love a good holiday as much as the next person!); therefore, time in lieu will be given to compensate.
