Entertainment Booking Consultant (12 Month FTC) Southampton, England
Job description
Job Description
We recognise the value in having people with a variety of backgrounds, experience and skills in our business. That means the role requirements here should be seen as a guide, not a checklist. If you have more, less or different experiences, but really relevant skills, we’d love to hear from you.
We work flexibly and will help you to find a healthy balance of remote working and time in our fantastic Southampton office, collaborating, taking part in events and getting to know people that makes working with us so rewarding. We welcome the opportunity to discuss reduced hours and job share arrangements.
The Role
The Entertainment Booking Consultant is responsible for engaging a varied Entertainment programme at P&O Cruises, from established vocalists to inspiring speakers and other related entertainment product.
Working in conjunction with the Entertainment & Leisure Planning Manager and shipboard Entertainment Managers, the Entertainment Booking Consultant will source and contract entertainers, considering guest demographic, ship deployment and brand strategy to bespoke their specific ship offering acting as the primary liaison for their ship.
The Entertainment Booking Consultant will ensure there is clear communication between ship and shore to capture onboard feedback, understanding their ships’ opportunities and limitations to effectively engage and plan talent onboard.
The Entertainment Booking consultant will ensure quality entertainment is booked to agreed timelines and will report against financial and customer feedback targets, flagging any risks to the Entertainment & Leisure Planning Manager to ensure a consistent programme can be delivered throughout the year on time and within budget, irrespective of ship location.
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK09 and is offered on a full time, fixed term basis, with at least two days based in our Southampton office.
