This role sits in the Architecture & Solution Delivery team, reporting to the Solution Delivery Manager, and has accountability for defining and delivering IT Workplace solutions architecture roadmaps in alignment with the IT and business strategy.
- Own the definition, design, and delivery phases of workplace solutions to address business requirements, ensuring optimal integration of the future enterprise environment.
- Leads the technical planning and delivery of global workplace solutions projects, providing technical direction and guidance to internal and external teams.
- Design and implement EUC solutions that leverage the latest technologies and services, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Virtual Desktop solutions.
- Oversee all technical aspects of all global endpoint solutions projects and lifecycle management.
- Act as technical authority on workplace tools and related cloud technologies.
- Engage stakeholders to define workplace technologies acceptance and adoption criteria.
- Develop and refine workplace solutions roadmap for continuous improvement, innovation, evolution, and system replacement in line with the business and IT strategy.
- Provide guidance and support to 2nd/3rd teams on EUC products and services, including device management, application deployment, and endpoint security.
- Design solutions in line with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus requirements.
- Contribute to operational handover, service introduction documentation and training material.
- Ability to work in a flexible way in respect of works required outside of normal working hours.
- Ability to travel to the Firms' offices when required.
- Be an advocate for continuous integration and continuous delivery
- At least 5-10 years of experience in EUC, focusing on delivering solutions that optimise end-user experiences and improve productivity and endpoint security.
- Proven ability to design and implement EUC solutions that leverage the latest technologies and services, including Endpoint management (desktops/mobiles), Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Virtual Desktop solutions.
- Deployment Toolset(s) – System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and AutoPilot (expert level)
- Endpoint scripting/ PowerShell (expert level)
- M365 stack (intermediate level)
- Application packaging, control and lifecycle management
- Service focused attitude - ability to respond quickly to requests, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
- Confident and clear communication (verbal and written) with people at all levels of the business hierarchy.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex workplace tools environments, with multiple 3rd party integrations
