Solutions Architect - Remote

3 Month (Possible Extension)

Reporting to the Head of Solution Architecture, the Solution Architect is responsible for overarching IT solution design, identification of Risks and Issues which could impact the project, production of the IT high-level design and input into the plan. The role needs to effectively manage their own workload to ensure the timely and quality delivery of solution designs, often because of competing priorities and in the face of demanding customer and business requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Elicit client requirements, analyse complex functional and non-functional requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Deliver high quality input into bids and proposals.
• Produce both High and Low level designs and take through governance process.
• Provide design leadership and guidance to delivery teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architecture standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of networks, telephony, security, and domain and application services.
• Experience of designing contact centre solutions including Telephony, IVR, Chat, Email and Social Media.
• Knowledge of both on-premise and clouds based solutions (Ideally Azure & AWS).
• Exposure to at least 1 CCaaS or UCaaS platform.
