Job description
- An engineering background is required, evidence of previous work in security is required for the role. A degree in a relevant engineering field is desirable but not required.
- Demonstrated track record of customer delivery against complex security solutions is required. These solutions should be across multiple stakeholders and at a significant organisational impact. Evidence of stakeholder management and security communications would be desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills on the topic of security are a key part of the role.
- Working with national security/defense customers or demonstrating work against highly motivated threat actors using advanced techniques is desirable to enable faster execution in the role.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a UK Security Clearance is a requirement. (You will need to be a UK citizen. Further information can be provided on request).
The work of this role will enable the build out and production of complex customer engagements to address detailed security concerns.
Within this role there is a need to design against concerns that build below a normal level of customer awareness of the cloud and how to produce solutions that can build into customer controlled accounts.
The role will require a deep understanding of security topics covering the national security space and strong communication skills to partner with customers and identify how to deliver against that space. It will also require the same skill-set to work across AWS teams to develop approaches to solving those issues.
The role will also require driving change back into AWS to enable more effective delivery of secure outcomes. This may include changes to product roadmaps, changes to existing features or working to build other forms of solutions in this space such as white papers, accelerators or tooling.
