Provider Enrollment Specialist-Reimbursement
High school diploma or equivalency required with secretarial skills plus healthcare-related educational background. Two years general medical or hospital secretarial background. Excellent communication, word processing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Complete all initial and re-credentialing applications for all employed PMC providers. Mail/transmit applications to third party payers/affiliations. Follow up with payer/affiliations to ensure receipt of applications. Regularly reports to administration, offices and billing department at determined intervals. Confirmation of participation communicated once effective. Must be able to create, and or update existing CAQH profiles. Quarterly updates must be done to ensure continuous participation. Must be able to generate/track NPI numbers.
