Enquiry Assistant
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, customer service focused individuals to the position of Enquiry Assistant in the Engagement and Conversion Team within the Directorate of External Relations.
In this role, you will handle high volumes of enquiries from prospective students using the central Customer Relationship Management System, acting as the first point of contact for many of our incoming students. Enquiries are received via email, web form, live chat, phone, social media and digital campaigns, with this role supporting individuals as they embark on the next steps in their education.

You will be a highly organised individual, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be capable of maintaining accuracy and giving close attention to detail while working under pressure, and be able to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines while dealing with multiple tasks.
Applicants must have excellent IT skills, preferably including experience of a CRM system, and the willingness to learn how to use new systems that are central to the success of the Enquiry Team.
This role is essential to the successful recruitment of all University of Aberdeen students. You will be first point of contact for many of our applicants to the University and provide friendly, clear and accurate advice and guidance to applicants, supporting conversion activity to ensure we recruit the brightest and best students.
The post-holder will be required to ensure the Engagement and Conversion Team’s excellent customer service is kept at a high level.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 3, £22,197 - £24,715 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
