Job description
We are recruiting English Language Teachers to join our team in Manchester. You will be responsible for 15-21 hours of teaching per week, delivering KIC programmes to the highest standard possible.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- planning lessons in accordance with the standards outlined in the KIC Teaching Standards
- preparing thorough lesson plans for in-house observations and external observations where necessary
- assigning homework and to marking assignments
- assisting in the testing and placement (as needed) of new and existing students ensuring all students are assessed as accurately as possible
- conducting regular tutorials in accordance with the KIC Tutorial policy
- promoting independent learning via needs analysis, tutorials, support and reports
- being proactive about your personal development; attending all compulsory training sessions and actively participating in any training offered
- contributing to the development of KIC materials though trialling and feedback
About you:
To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following:
a bachelor’s degree as minimum- CELTA or equivalent
- a passion for teaching and inspiring students to learn
- a desire to deliver excellent customer service
- strong administrative and organisational skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to develop learner autonomy with students
