Job Description
Xcede has partnered up with one of the leading premium Manufacturers of Automotive in the world. They're currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician to join their growing organization for an onsite position in Ladysmith, KZN.
Key Functions and Responsibilities
As an IT Infrastructure Technician, you would be seeing to users IT needs and technical issues (software & hardware). You would setup and configure network switches, ports and points, diagnose and troubleshoot network and WIFI issues, maintain IP list and assignment of IP addresses, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooing Factory Automation issues with the use of SCADA and MES systems.
Necessary Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in IT
- Certificates across A+, N+, MCSE or CCNA
- Min of 3 years' experience in an IT support role
- Knowledge of MES Systems or Scada
- Knowledge across Lan/Wan, Switching & Routing, Fortigate firewalls Hyper-V and VM Ware
