Overview
ADXBA, as part of the ASTRA Group, are specialists in digital signage solutions, and have designed installed and maintained a vast array of large format screens throughout the UK and Europe in airports, shopping malls, major retailers and DOOH. Due to expansion we are now looking into further recruitment within our Service Department.
In this role you will be responsible for the day to day on site support and maintenance of digital and traditional signage throughout the region.
The role requires a solid background in providing experience within the IT/ AV industry, ideally with the understanding digital out of home assets as well as networking and cabling. Experience in managing digital signage systems and working with clients to advise and proactively resolve onsite faults would be extremely advantageous.
You will also from time to time be asked to support the repair of traditional signage as well as digital installations.
The role will be predominantly based in the home region of the engineer, however, due to the nature of the business you may also be required to travel to other regions to assist in works and/ or respond to assigned faults.
Additionally this role requires flexible working hours and there is also an aspect of ‘on call’ 4 weekly shared between fellow team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Support
- On-site response
- Onsite repair/ fault resolve
- Onsite proactive and reactive maintenance
- Servicing checks and cleaning of digital assets
- Manage faults and customer requests from receipt to resolution and closure
- Actively contribute ideas towards internal systems
- Encourage and support customers in using self-service systems to log, update and receive updates of service requests
- Service Permits to work
- Service Parking permits
Minor Responsibilities
- Aid our installation team with installation of displays from time to time.
- Technical Commissioning (depending on experience)
- Aid our installation team with technical commissioning on LED Displays and other technical solutions.
Build relationships with our suppliers and vendors to ensure support
Position Requirements (knowledge & experience)
- Good Verbal and written communication skills
- Strong IT knowledge (Inc Microsoft office products)
- Extensive on-site experience
- Experience and working knowledge of display / AV and computer hardware / software.
- The ability to work using your own initiative as well as working within a team
- Good people skills and customer service ethic.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £30,000
Overtime: Paid at time and a half Mon-Sat, Double Sun and BH

- AV Engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (Preferred)
