About the role

This is an entry level role and the very first step in a career in Engineering. Referred to internally as a Technical Assistant, this job is all about keeping the warehouse moving. It is an active role, and you will spend most of your time responding to and resolving issues with the systems in the warehouse and reporting them as necessary. You will also be responsible for upholding hygiene standards, which could involve anything from mopping a floor to deep cleaning our automation equipment. There are many training opportunities at Ocado, and from this job you can progress to Technician and Engineer roles over time.

The shift pattern for this role is four days on, four days off. You will do two sets of day shifts, then two sets of night shifts.

About you

You don’t need any formal qualifications as full training will be provided. All you need is a positive attitude and motivation to do a good job. You will spend a lot of time on your feet in this role, so a good standard of physical fitness is a must.
