Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor at our Grimsby site. In Grimsby, we manufacture fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and for private label.
As an Engineering Supervisor you will lead and support a team in ensuring maximum utilisation of resources and equipment to achieve efficient production of Right First Time products - this is to be achieved within the Company quality, safety and environmental frameworks whilst developing a team working and continuous improvement culture. To lead by example whilst demonstrating the correct behaviours associated with a professional management / leadership role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of assigned engineering teams in their daily duties
- Plan and complete tasks for self from PPM and Manufacturers schedules
- Support production, with ideas and initiative’s to optimise line efficiency
- Checks include start up, line set (safety, operations, technical and engineering), routine maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s schedules, complete relevant documentation in accordance with Company policies and procedures
What you will need for the role / what it will take
- Engineering qualifications (Electrical Mechanical Engineering, health & safety, etc.)
- Experience within an FMCG environment
- Experience using Pirana CMMS
- Strong communication and organisational skills
