- To maintain the highest possible levels of logistical support making sure stock levels are accurate and in line with customer requirements.
- To provide over the counter service - issuing and booking out stock items to customers.
- Receiving and issuing individual customer orders delivered direct to the FSL.
- To arrange 1-1 replacement of key Openreach test equipment to and from the repair agent via TraX.
- To follow in life/Warranty process and regularly return items to ES Triage Centre.
- To maintain card control stock at Managed Kit Rooms (MKR) on behalf of parent site where co-located.
- Picking items from MKR for engineer/courier collection where co-located.
- To monitor and maintain the stock levels of bespoke and kanban cable.
- To maintain pole stocks, where a pole stack is located on site.
- To support BT’s environmental policy on skips/cages we are responsible for.
- To liaise with BT property and BT Security on any identified issues on the site that might arise.
- To arrange for the appropriate return of any customer orders not collected within 14 days.( where items held RTS in FSL)
- Sort, receipt and put to stock over the counter replenishment stores and report any discrepancies.
- Advise appropriate transport contact if expected deliveries have not arrived.
- Raise eReturns requests for customer returns.
- Perform stock checks at MKR where one is co-located.
- Perform stock checks on ‘Over the Counter’ Items held in the FSL.
- Process cable issues and/or returns, as advised by the customer, and update stock on system.
- Will be required to move cable drums manually (i.e. Roll) or drive FLT for larger cable drums.
- Arrange collection of any Empty Cable Drums (ECD's).
- The post holder will be required to perform regular checks throughout the day both inside the FSL and outside in the yard for stock checks, deliveries, skip checks etc.
- Complete all receipting and transfer of stock as required.
- To manage the Contingency Cable service – maintain stock and courier arrangements in line with BTSC processes where appropriate.
- To complete weekly site check and flag any issues as appropriate.
- Will be required to regularly lift 15k from a floor location, or shelving no higher than chest height.
- To make sure deliveries and collections are completed safely, ie cordoning off as appropriate.
- To make sure stock is stored in line with Health and Safety procedures.
- The post holder will require a good level of dexterity to enable them to pick and pack and despatch a large portfolio of items that can vary in size and weight.
- Comprehensively skilled in own work area/s. Deal effectively with a variety of standard issues.
- Developing knowledge in one area or breadth of knowledge across a range of issues
