Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an Engineering Program Management Intern to join our expanding Data Center Capacity Planning and Delivery team London, UK.

As an intern you will work on challenging projects with high impact, find solutions to complex problems and innovate to solve the challenges associated with constructing Amazon Data Centers. Program Managers are given responsibility on their first day to own those business challenges and the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions. They drive efforts independently and as part of larger project teams and have a significant impact on the customer experience and the business.

You will be based between construction sites and live data centers and will work with a vast range of people including construction managers and functional teams such as finance, legal and procurement.

Duties include

• Establish communication and coordination across a data center region’s contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Data analysis & process improvement
• Tracking project schedules to ensure risks are mitigated and project milestones are hit on time.
• Work with equipment vendors

Amazon internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks, in Summer 2023. This position requires the intern to report to work onsite on a daily basis. Intern schedules are typically day schedules, Monday-Friday.
