Engineering Production Admin Assistant Pitmedden, Scotland
Job description
Our busy Engineering Machine shop and fabrication facility is looking for someone who can assist our production manager with daily admin duties.
liaising with customers, suppliers and our own staff to determine costs and timescales - entering the information into our computer system - generating quotes and purchase orders.
the ideal candidate would already have some experience in the engineering or metal fabrication world - be aware of different materials and terminology. We could accommodate flexible hours so may suit someone who was 'hands on' but wants to step back to an admin role or wants a shorter working week etc.
Alternatively, it could be a good starting point for someone looking to get into the engineering world - for the candidate with the right attitude and enthusiasm, we could provide training and mentoring.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £15,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
