Job description:
Supporting the Engineering team in a real lean manufacturing environment, the engineering student will gain great exposure into the automotive industry. A placement with Faurecia will allow students to develop skills learnt at University and provide an excellent foundation for a career in Engineering.
Job duties & responsibilities:
- Support the Engineering team to design shop floor layout and process flow
- Assist with process definition
- Support raw material optimisation and product process development
- Support application and maintenance of Group FES (Faurecia Excellence System) standards
- Assist new product introduction and industrialisation
- Full involvement in any project work set by Managers
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate second year student on target for 2:1 or above
- Enthusiastic, motivated and well organised
- Strong written, communication and computer skills
- Hardworking, flexible and reliable
- Able to work well within a team
- Committed to continuous improvement

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
