At Tayto Group we need the very best to add value to our business and become part of our on-going success, therefore we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join us in Scunthorpe.
Job Purpose:
As a Senior Manager, you will provide a service to manufacturing. This is for the planning and control of effective maintenance of the sites utilities/services crisp and snack processing packaging equipment.
Main Duties:
· Plan and direct the effective utilisation of the sites engineering resources (people/budget) in order to achieve site KPIs.
· Maintain and ensure site adherence to the Engineering Standards.
· Develop skills and knowledge of the on-site engineering team.
· Manage the Engineering Department budget to ensure control of expenditure within agreed limits.
· Complete feasibility studies concerning capital proposals, including the specifications of plant and equipment.
· Work in conjunction with the Group Engineering Team and third party suppliers on design and implementation of major capital projects.
Key Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced, proactive and driven individual who thrives in a fast paced environment. Ideally you will have extensive experience with at least 5 years in a people management position. Be self-motivated with a FMCG background and have experience with setting and controlling budgets.
Shifts, Salary and holiday entitlement:
· Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
· Competitive salary.
· 25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays.
