Current banking systems don't let us send, spend or receive money across borders easily. Or quickly. Or cheaply. So, we're building a new one. We need a Platform SRE Lead to join our mission and help us build a global platform that's scalable, reliable and secure. You'll dive right into projects on Availability, Incidents and Operational Resiliency. About the role We are looking for an exceptional lead with a strong focus on customer experience and reliability. Our team's goal is to empower teams within Wise to maximise the reliability of our products. We aim to achieve this goal by providing easy to adopt reliability practices, giving insight into the health of our services by leveraging our observability platform and prevent recurring problems by evolving our incident framework and tooling. How we work We operate on a strong belief in automation, programmatic implementation, and reusable design. We're looking for people who can step back and think holistically about the ecosystem, but also follow through and help implement the design; drawing on the resources across the rest of the platform tribe. As we grow, our service architecture gets more complex . We need to sustain this growth by continuously iterating on the services we run, with a focus on availability, security, and ease of use. We're looking for a lead with relevant experience who can analyse complex requirements and deliver simple solutions to help our teams achieve our mission with speed and confidence. What will you be working on? Working closely with product teams to implement reliability best practices such as SLOs, meaningful alerting Evolve the Incident Management process for all of Wise Expand how we measure availability on all Wise products What do you need?
