About the opportunity:

We work across the UK and Ireland, delivering some of the biggest and most challenging projects, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions to the country’s most critical issues, from access to clean air and safe water, civil and national security and safeguarding mobility.

This opportunity is aimed towards undergraduates who are either in their 2nd or 3rd year of study for a degree in Engineering and who are looking to undertake a year in industry placement in our water team. In this role you will work with a mentor who will assist you in identifying areas of learning so that when you leave you have a portfolio of learning experiences to refer to. There will also be opportunities to network with others in the industry as well as across Jacobs through the various experiences that will be on offer in a company that is a recognised inclusive and diverse employer.

This is a 12-month internship starting Summer 2023.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Ideally you would be studying towards attaining a minimum 2:1 MEng in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Excellent Analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
  • Have developed a good range of IT skills
