Salary: Starting at £28,875 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Graduate Programme

This will be a 2-year programme providing you with valuable exposure and insight into Veolia services and strategic Veolia projects.

You will go through a structured development, undertaking health and safety, leadership, business and management modules with your graduate cohort as well as learning more about yourself through 360 coaching sessions and insights profiling. You will have the opportunity to learn more about sustainability and join the wider graduate community.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide technical support to the Veolia CHP management team.
  • Help ensure continued availability and optimal performance of the CHP plant through effective implementation of remote monitoring and analysis.
  • Analyse plant failures/underperformance, taking appropriate corrective action.
  • Produce informative, quality and timely internal reports, which enable the company to discharge its corporate responsibilities.
  • Assist in targeting new opportunities/ additional works, both for their Contract Portfolio, VCHP and the wider Veolia as appropriate.
  • Ensure thorough investigation of all accidents/hazards / near misses and put necessary corrective actions in place.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, electrical or energy) (To be achieved by Sept 2023)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
