Structural Soils part of the RSK Group company is looking for a high calibre Engineering Geologist to join their team in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full time, permanent opportunity and you will be joining a knowledgeable and talented team. You will be expected to assist in the delivery of geotechnical projects and will therefore be able to demonstrate technical, commercial and site management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing small to medium ground and site investigation contracts including the production of factual reports
- Supervision of site investigation works and projects in the following sectors: house builders, commercial property developers, public sector bodies, manufacturing and industrial
- Effectively communicating with clients and colleagues to build strong working relationships with the aim of meeting and exceeding client expectations
- Manage site works to meet both commercial and technical requirements and delivering appropriate solutions wherever necessary
- Stewardship of health and safety in accordance with company standards and guidelines
Person Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in geology/civil engineering or a related environmental subject essential
- Practical experience in supervising and managing Ground Investigations.
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills
- Able to plan and prioritise workload
- Client driven with the ability to motivate and engage with immediate colleagues and those across the wider RSK business
- Full clean UK driving licence is essential
- Chartered status a benefit

- Up to £35,000 depending on experience
