Job description
The role is to control and co-ordinate operational delivery within the Division, ensuring the schedule of work for a designated group of Engineers achieves the highest levels of customer service and engineer productivity.
Involves both forward planning and reactive problem resolution on an ongoing basis, working closely with other departments to ensure the full business cycle from order to cash collection can be completed.
Duties:
- Coordinate engineers, generate work schedules, track the works progress, ensure the schedules are filled and work is completed on time
- Liaise with clients, providing exceptional customer service whilst building strong relationships
- Arranging travel and hotel accommodation for engineers working away from home.
- Ensure the engineers have the correct H&S training, job information, equipment, stationery etc.
- Arrange travel and hotel accommodation for the engineers.
- Organise and arrange engineers vehicles are serviced and maintained.
- Send invoicing information to the accounts team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Controller, Planner, Scheduler or Route Planner is essential
- Strong communicator, supportive and organised with excellent communication skills
- Used to working in a fast-paced service environment
- Able to work well within a team as well as individually
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Potential to be ‘on call’ on a weekend (rota based system) to cover any calls/issues engineers have when working the weekend. Time used given back in lieu
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
