Job Title: ENGINEERING ADMINISTRATOR
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Based at: Expac (Preston) Ltd based at Units 1 & 2, Tomlinson Road, Leyland, Preston PR25 2DY

Role Purpose:
Primary focus on creating detailed line setup documentation (Centre-lining), SOPs and other relevant training documentation.
Work closely with the engineering team to develop the relevant information and administer training; thus, improving output by reducing response time to basic tasks, maintaining standards and improving production performance.
Additional duties will include capturing essential engineering data and inputting into the CMMS (Workmate) with the objective of allowing the engineering department to measure and trend essential KPIs: Meantime to Failure (MTTF), Meantime to Repair (MTTR) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Key Responsibilities
· The full documentation of line settings (Centre-lining) for all products on all lines.
o Primary focus on products that will offer the greatest improvement to OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
· Identify line setting short falls and rectify.
· Create SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) documents as required.
· The development of training documentation relating to:
o Line Leaders: Line setting and basic adjustment.
o Technicians: Line changeover, set up and first line maintenance.
o Hygiene on their role and line set up.
o Production staff on their role and line set up.
o QC staff on their role and related line set up adjustment.
· Administration of the Computerised Maintenance Management System - CMMS (Workmate):
o Inputting relevant data pertaining to machine breakdowns and fault reporting.
o Generating the weekly PPM schedule.
o Closing off completed work and ensuring necessary sign off.
· Ensure all engineering Planned Preventative Maintenance documentation is in order and up to date.
· Writing permits to work and assisting with contractor management.
· Parts procurement, raising purchase orders and ensuring engineering stock is effectively managed, logged and kept in the correct and identified locations).
· Order and continually update all machine documentation and manuals as required.
· Ensuring company processes and procedures are followed.

· Experience of training.
· Desirable - knowledge of components and packaging within the personal care, cosmetic and household sector.
