Vivonics, Inc. is a biomedical engineering technology development firm that is pushing the limits of
medical care obtainable outside of a traditional clinical setting, by creating innovative technologies that
improve human health and performance and advancing those technologies from the initial concept to
viable products. We are seeking an electrical engineering co-op to join our team for the Summer of 2023.
This is a full-time, paid position, which works collaboratively with our cross-disciplinary team of
biomedical, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers. The position is available start immediately.
Vivonics is looking for a self-motivated and hands-on engineers with a passion for developing creative
solutions that improve human health and performance. The electrical engineering co-op will be integral
to the development of our medical device and performance monitoring product solutions.

Position Description:
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the development of our various medical device
technologies. You will support the electrical design and functional testing of our feasibility and clinicalstage products. This position requires you to work in a small, cross-functional, collaborative environment.Skills:

  • Debugging skills of mixed-signal circuits
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, and function generators
  • Ability to read and understand circuit schematic
  • Experience with reading and understanding component datasheets
  • Experience with soldering surface mount components (0402 and QFN IC’s)
  • Experience creating workbench prototypes using breadboards, through-hole components
  • Experience with microcontrollers
  • Experience working with a schematic capture software (Altium/Circuit Studio preferred)
  • Experience with LabView preferred
  • Experience with wireless communication (BLE)


Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
  • Preference given to candidates registered on the MLSC Internship Program website.
