Job Title: Engineering Administrator
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000
Location: North Leicestershire (Hybrid)
Hybrid working is available for this position, however, you will need to be able to drive due to the location of the offices and be able to attend the site at least twice a week.
The Commercial Division at SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Administrator to join their client based in the North of Leicestershire. You will be heavily involved in project coordination work, which will include bid and tendering administration support to project management level.

The successful candidate will need to have previous project, tendering, bid or estimating experience, ideally within an Engineering, Manufacturing or Oil/Gas industry. You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines, and be process focussed to complete key projects and tasks within agreed SLA's.

As an Engineering Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Build strong relationships with Project Managers, Sales Managers and external customers, clients and contractors to ensure a smooth and efficient project experience from start to finish.
- Ensure new Bid and Tendering contract documentation and reports are prepared and completed to the highest standard for handover to the project management department.
- Organise pre-project, ongoing service reviews and final completion project meetings for all parties across the UK and internationally to ensure customer satisfaction and timeframes are achieved.
- Looking into continuous commercial and business improvement opportunities to streamline projects, as well as saving costs by using internal resources.
- Handling and resolving inbound technical enquiries and project update requests.
- Ensuring all contractual agreements are in line with global and local laws and regulations.
- Providing additional administration and project support to the wider team.
The successful candidate will need to have previous project, tendering, bid or estimating experience, ideally within an Engineering, Manufacturing or Oil/Gas industry. - Excellent communication and able to build rapport at all levels.
- Capable of prioritising tasks whilst handling multiple projects.
- Excellent time management and organisation.
- Ability to meet and exceed customer requirements.
- Strong technical understanding and interest in becoming an expert.
