Radiodetection is offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as an Engineering Apprentice in the role of Product Design & Development Technician. This structured training program will provide comprehensive training in various aspects of electronics development, setting you on the path to becoming a skilled professional in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Gain hands-on experience within the workplace.
- Attend College to study Engineering Technician – Level 3 apprenticeship through day release.
- Learn and develop skills in electronic schematics, CAD, soldering, bring-up, fault finding and debug of electronic circuits, PCB design, test development and implementation, procurement, quality assurance, and report writing.
Requirements:
- Enrolled or planning to enrol in the Engineering Technician – Level 3 apprenticeship.
- Possess a mature and responsible approach to work and study.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a keen interest in electronics and computing.
- Have technical and manual aptitude.
- Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 in English, Mathematics, and Engineering or Science subjects (or equivalents).
