Then please get in touch! Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our client in the Ilchester area!

**Responsibilities**

  • Site and factory production line maintenance on all automated factory equipment.
  • Ensuring maximum Production uptime and line availability.
  • Minimising unplanned downtime and reactive maintenance works, through PPM schedules, line & machine knowledge, RCA -route cause analysis of failures and implementing 100-year fixes.
  • To work along side production management and skilled operators to ensure target factory KPI’s are achieved.
  • To make sure health and food safety are at the forefront of all engineering activities carried out.
  • Utilise site maintenance systems (Hollistech), to improve engineering effectiveness.

**Requirements**

  • Essential: Experience of effectively managing engineering teams in an automated/semi-automated FMCG type manufacturing environment.
  • Essential: Time-served Engineering NVQ or City & Guilds apprenticeship qualification.
  • Possess relevant engineering qualifications and support team members in their professional development.
  • Desirable: Possess knowledge and experience in basic programming and troubleshooting PLC systems, supporting team members in this area.
  • Desirable (but not essential): HNC/HND in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Essential – Experience in developing & encourage team members, and provide opportunities for skill development.
  • Essential: Possess expertise in electrical engineering and support team members in developing their multiskilled capabilities.
