What you can expect
You are enthusiastic about technically demanding tasks and aim to inspire the customer for iba solutions in the long term. In doing so, you develop individual customer solutions with the iba-product portfolio with the aim of bringing the greatest possible transparency to their energy technology applications.
Your tasks
- You support customer projects from acquisition, system design and configuration of our products to commissioning, in the energy technology or industrial environment
- You develop application-based concepts based on the iba product portfolio
- As a link between our customers, product management and product development, you analyse customer requirements for power engineering applications and specify product features in coordination with product management
- You accompany the piloting of new system functions with our customers
- You train and advise our customers (also on site) and support the technical customer support with your professional expertise
Your profile
- University degree in electrical engineering (specialisation in power engineering, power electronics or signal processing is an advantage) or related discipline, equivalent work experience will be considered
- First professional experience in the area of network operation, maintenance or in the area of project planning and processing of electrical power engineering systems (e.g. HVDC, SVC systems, etc.)
- Knowledge of electrical operating processes and metrological signal processing
- Knowledge of methods for evaluating signal characteristics (e.g. power quality) and for fault analysis (TFR) as well as station automation (IEC61850)
- Analytical approach, willingness to learn, good communication skills, ability to work in a team
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
