Looking for an Engineer II - Network Surveillance

What you will be doing as an Engineer II - Network Surveillance

· Provide IP Network, Routing, Protocols, CORE and Transport first level operational engineering support to detect incidents, troubleshoot problems and provide resolutions with deployed RF and ORAN systems.

· Work with technical writers/engineers to document final process configurations and MOPs.

· Perform daily fault and performance analysis using a variety of monitoring tools to discover network impairments.

· Perform remote resolution of faults through various Element Management Systems (EMS), the OBF and Assurance platforms.

· Engage and escalate issues with the Tier II & III teams when critical/time sensitive support and resolution is needed.

· Enter/update Trouble Tickets with technical details, schedule/coordinate further troubleshooting, maintenance and/or hardware replacement requests.

· Work with technical writers/engineers to document final process configurations and MOPs.

· Perform daily fault and performance analysis using a variety of monitoring tools to discover network impairments.

· Perform remote resolution of faults through various Element Management Systems (EMS’), the OBF and Assurance platforms.

· Use a combination of various tools to correlate multiple faults and/or system presented data into singular network impairments.

· Manage fix bridges on large scale and/or high severity issues that involve multiple teams/participants including Executive level communication.

What you will bring to the table as an Engineer II - Network Surveillance

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of highly related experience and education.

· 5+ year experience in network operations, analyzing wireless networks, related equipment and/or performance.

· Basic knowledge of 5G ORAN split functions (7-2x, RU, DU, CU, CP, UP…) software architectures in a virtualized environment.

· Ability to multitask, learn new tools and systems, grasp higher-level technology issues, meet objectives and solve issues in stressful situations with high speed of completion and high degree of accuracy.

· Willingness to work on any assigned shift.

· Experience analyzing wireless networks, related equipment and/or performance.

· Use a combination of various tools to correlate multiple faults and/or system presented data into singular network impairments.
