We have several apprentice positions within Glass Systems to join our established team of engineers, where we will be able to support you as you undertake your apprenticeship awards.

What positions are available?
We have an excellent opportunity within our engineering team at our Cumbernauld site for a 4-year period, starting in September 2023. The positions are based within the areas of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, allowing you to gain experience and knowledge whilst undertaking vocational awards.
What training will I be given?
The training programme will involve gaining work-based practical experience, supported by college-based tutorials, and working towards a BTEC/NVQ qualification (or equivalent) in mechanical / Electrical maintenance, normally working towards level 2 and level 3 qualifications.
What qualifications do I need?
Educated to GCSE or Nationals standard in Mathematics, English and Science you should be able to show a genuine desire to succeed in a long-term engineering career; No previous experience is necessary; however, mechanical/technical awareness is highly desirable. You must be willing to learn, physically fit and enjoy working in a team environment.
