- Core Responsibilities:
- Support subject matter experts across Con Edison to interpret NERC Standards and ensure high standards of compliance.
- Support Company compliance activities with NPCC and NERC and respond to NERC Alerts.
- Assist oversight of the NERC Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program at Con Edison, maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Support the department's participation in NPCC and NERC committees and working groups.
- Support activities with compliance partners and peers including the NYISO, NYPA and neighboring utilities.
- Assist in evaluating new NERC Standards and brief executives on emerging compliance issues.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 2 years of work experience in the electric power industry
Relevant Work Experience
- Exposed to NERC reliability Standards. Required
- Capable of drafting technical procedures, business process documents or specifications for the electric power industry. Required
Licenses & Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Other Physical Demands
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
