Job description
We are seeking a flexible and resilient team-player with a good practical engineering background including electricals. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on motorised platforms and control systems. They will be able to read and interpret electrical drawings as well as being able to interpret product manuals, parts manuals, and instruction books. They must have excellent communication skills and be committed to delivering high-quality work. Health and safety is key in our industry so they must have a strong understanding of how to minimise risks.
Key duties will include:
- Dismantling and assembling MCWP drive units and other equipment including motors and gearboxes
- Carrying out testing and inspection to ensure units meet our high standards
- Fault diagnosis using systematic approach including control systems
- Completing strip reports, test sheets, engineers’ reports and other documentation in a clear concise manner to communicate to the BFT team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
