The Faculty is looking to appoint a Student Engagement Officer to help our students achieve their full potential. The post holder will be expected to actively engage with issues of student non-attendance and disengagement. This will include pastoral support and onward referral where necessary to ensure students receive personalised and targeted interventions to meet their engagement and welfare needs.
You will possess excellent analytical and IT skills, be self motivated, enthusiastic and sympathetic in order to communicate effectively and sensitively with students and colleagues. You will be expected to have sound knowledge and experience of supporting students from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs. Experience of working in a HE environment would be beneficial.
