Salary: £60,000 to £68,000 per annum plus a car/car allowance, bonus potential and enhanced pension
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Home based with travel

What will you be doing?
- The complete development of Energy Project opportunities from inception to contract execution.
- To meet the delivery programme for the Construction of new Energy projects ranging in value to £30m and timelines of up to 2 years.
- Responsible for making recommendations to the Head of Construction as to whether projects are sufficiently developed in terms of cost, risk analysis, programme, specifications, etc to move into construction during the investco governance processes
- Flexibility to support waste infrastructure and IWE Water projects where required by the Head of Construction
- To ensure site activities are compliant with regulations, permits and Veolia internal procedures.
- To champion best practice in design/project management techniques and ensure full implementation of project management processes
- To ensure regular reporting for all projects of the following and ensure adherence to all milestones:
- Time,
- Cashflow
- Budget
- Risks
What are we looking for?
- A project leader who is proactive and performance focused with strong customer and team management skills
- A successful track record of leading the delivery of engineering projects, meeting or exceeding their objectives
- Strong health and safety knowledge to cultivate the “think safe, work safe, home safe” culture, including familiarity with the CDM regulations
- Technical competence with knowledge and experience of relevant energy solutions
- Commercially astute with experience of costing and performance models and estimation
- Confident engaging with internal and external managers to ensure that projects are developed in order to meet the business growth needs and optimise project outcomes.
