Role: Energy Manager
Function: Property
Location: Dunstable, we have a fantastic hybrid working environment, you’ll need to be in the office at least 2 days per week but the rest of your week can be flexible to what works best for you and your role
Package: £43,000 - £53,000 + up to 30% bonus, Pension, BUPA Healthcare

Inside the role:
- Implement the energy management strategy including capital investment, R&D, bureau management, metering and operations
- Identify opportunities to reduce energy/carbon consumption in the existing estate, develop business cases and secure funding
- Develop and deliver projects for the annual energy investment programme
- Identify new technology to support energy and CO2 reduction targets. Trial this technology to provide future pipeline of savings
- Manage third parties to produce and track performance against annual energy budgets
- Manage Bill Validation, DCDA and MOPs to provide all services required by operations and development teams
- Identify opportunities to improve control and monitoring of energy consuming assets and ensure effective exception management
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to improve awareness and understanding or energy and carbon
- Work with consultants to develop design standards for services and new equipment
We’re open to you:
- An understanding of energy management techniques and technologies
- Analytical mindset and problem solving skills
- A mathematic degree or relevant Energy Manager qualification would be ideal but not a requirement
- Strong project management skills
- Passion for sustainability
- Experience in a similar role or field
