We are looking for experienced Energy Engineers to assist in the design of projects in the commercial and institutional building industry.

Responsibilities:
- Perform energy simulations to assist the design teams in selection of equipment and strategies to reach the owner’s energy use goals.
- Documentation of LEED projects
- Prepare energy compliance reports (COMcheck, California Title 24/EnergyPro, Energy Gauge, Seattle/Washington State and ASHRAE forms)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience performing energy simulations for LEED projects
- Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve engineering problems using industry standards and engineering calculations
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Associated degree in applicable technical field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Energy modeling experience with EnergyPlus, Carrier Hourly Analysis Program (HAP), Trane Air Conditioning Economics (TRACE 700 or TRACE 3D Plus™) program.
- In possession of or eligible to obtain LEED BD+C, or ID+C credentials
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited curriculum
- Previous experience with industry energy use standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of MEP engineering principles
