Senior Energy Consultant - Remote Working with National Site Travel
Salary: Competitive
Remote Working: Home based with ability to travel to St Neots, Cambridgeshire and customer locations

Role Purpose
To support customers on environmental compliance, ensuring our customers understand and address a variety of energy management/efficiency issues and compliance requirements. By delivering high quality, energy management and reduction services to maximise positive environmental impact in the world.
A successful candidate will demonstrating technical knowledge and application, enjoy thinking creatively to solve technical challenges, and be able to deliver tech-enabled solutions.
Role Responsibility
Project Management
- Attend customer/stakeholder meetings, deliver presentations, and lead workshops.
- Effectively manage projects, delivering work on time and within budget.
- Research and adopt new technologies and methods to improve service provision.
- Assist clients with engagement and behaviour change actions for achieving Net Zero.
Waste
- Analyse data to generate exception and wastage reports and conduct client data monitoring.
- Identify wasteful practices and recommend improvements for building and asset performance.
Energy and Carbon
- Manage a portfolio of customers across reporting schemes (ESOS, SECR & ISO50001).Conduct building, process, and fleet surveys to identify energy and carbon reduction opportunities.
- Utilize in-house software platforms (e.g., Net Zero Hub) to support energy project management.
- Create building models using RETScreen for energy balances.
- Conduct building, process, and fleet surveys to identify energy and carbon reduction opportunities.
- Contribute to the creation of customers' Net Zero Strategy and Carbon Management Plans through scenario modelling and strategic outcomes.
- Support customers in achieving and maintaining relevant ISO certifications (e.g., ISO50001).
Training
- Contribute to technical briefings and external communication.
- Act as a catalyst for change and innovation to promote Net Zero goals.
- Participate in the screening of projects for efficient resource management.
Business Development
- Lead, or support where needed, the technical screening of projects to ensure proactive project and resource management.
- Contribute to the delivery of our internal initiatives towards the growth, sustainability, culture, knowledge sharing and aims of the business.
Experience, Qualifications and Characteristics
- Degree or equivalent in related subject or adequate sector experience
- 4 years' experience in an energy related role
- ESOS Lead Assessor (or adequate experience to qualify)
- Full UK driving licence

- Energy Compliance Experience (inc. ISO50001, ISO50006, ISO50015 & ESOS)
- Energy surveys (non-manufacturing - energy in buildings)
- Energy surveys (manufacturing, process and/or transport)
- Monitoring and Targeting (inc. regression & CUSUM analysis)
