The Procurement team is pivotal to both the Sales & Service Delivery areas of Amber and is responsible for negotiating and securing energy contracts ranging from spends of £100,000 up to multi-million pound contracts. We focus on tailoring bespoke procurement solutions for our clients and partnering them with the right supplier, ensuring exceptional service. The Energy Coordinator is an exciting role within the team, supporting our pricing analysts with a wide range of responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the intricacies of the fast-paced energy markets, building successful relationships and providing a strong knowledge base to develop further skills.


What will you be doing?


  • Undertake the collation of information from various sources in accordance with deadlines.
  • Undertake the data cleansing/application process to 100% accuracy.
  • Manage our systems in line with company processes.
  • Manage documentation in line with company standards.
  • Undertake the Request for Information process.
  • Undertake the Change of Tenancy process.
  • Carry out supply transfer checks to ensure successful transfers.
  • Manage and swiftly resolve supply transfer objections and rejections.
  • Obtain and submit VAT and Direct Debit forms in relation to placed energy contracts.
  • Submit termination notices in line with supplier requirements.
  • Resolve queries swiftly and effectively in line with company procedures.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with business development managers, relationship managers, client success managers and advisors, and wider business colleagues.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Support the wider needs of the business as and when required.

  • Strong IT skills- MS Excel, MS Word.

  • A confident and clear communicator, able to simplify jargon into client friendly responses.

  • Previous experience within the utilities sector.
Desirable
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience working with energy suppliers.
