We now have an opportunity for a Site Manager to join us to be responsible for leading, managing and monitoring the multi skilled workforce within Property Services Empty Homes Team.

The role

As the Empty Homes Site Manager, you will lead and support a multi-skilled workforce in refurbishing our vacant properties to get them to a standard we can be proud to give to a new customer to call their home.

You will oversee the installation of major capital components including (but not limited to): Kitchen replacement, bathroom replacement, rewires, heating upgrade, window and door replacements, major asbestos removals, ensuring that all homes achieve EPC 69 (SAP C) or higher through installation of retrospective affordable warmth measures.

You will manage external contractors and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of the home within required timescales ensuring operations are carried out in line with statutory, legal and Health & Safety regulations.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have solid experience working at Supervisor / Management level in the housing repair / maintenance sector and will have experience of dealing with the public.

Good communication skills are essential and you will be self-motivated and able to work off inspection reports, project plans and other necessary work documentation. This challenging role would suit a highly organised individual with a ‘hands-on’ approach who can thrive under pressure, prioritise effectively and meet targets without compromising on quality or safety standards.

You are also required to hold a full driving licence.
