Job description
An excellent opportunity for an Empty Container Hander driver is currently available. Driving ECHs whilst always adhering to safe operating procedures and safe systems of work is part of this job. Receiving empty shipping containers into Terminal care, block stacking them within the capabilities of the machine, and de-bulking them as necessary to maintain a precise and effective supply to the shipside operation are all components of the job.

Key Responsibilities:
- Observing safe working practices at all times
- Flexibility to work the required shift pattern – which includes days and nights and weekends
- Safe and efficient operation of Empty Container Handling machines
- Accurate and timely reporting of machine faults, safety concerns, accidents and near misses
- Care of customers cargo
Qualifications & Experience:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Self Motivated
- Genuine interest in delivering excellent customer service
- Willingness to drive and learn new skills
