What We Offer:
Full Time 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm)
Salary £27,037 per annum
Location: Your work base will be at Breckland House, St Nicholas St, Thetford IP24 1BT
(This is a hybrid role, you will work in the office and out in the community meeting clients to offer them support with employment)
*Please note, driver’s license and access to a vehicle essential for this role.
Annual leave entitlement of 26 days. Mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted.

What is IPS:
To support your clients back into work, our service uses the internationally recognised Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Model. This model is proven to be the most effective model when supporting individuals on their mental health recovery journey back into employment. The Role:
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will have a caseload of up to 25 clients. You will help support your clients (who are on their mental health recovery journey) to secure and retain paid employment.
Whether our clients want to work a couple of hours a week, or full-time, we help them to get back into employment, which is so rewarding.
This may involve supporting your clients with tasks such as searching for local job vacancies, helping them with the CV, cover letter or application form, providing them with interview skills and supporting them once they are in work.
As part of your role, you will build strong relationships with local employers to support your clients back into work. You will also liaise with mental health professionals who are supporting your clients, so that the best outcomes for the client can be achieved.
How we support you:
Within this role, you will be supported by your Team Leader and your colleagues. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive initial training and ongoing training and development to enable you to provide your clients with the tools they need to gain and retain paid employment.
You will be provided with the equipment to carry out your role effectively (a laptop and mobile phone). This role offers a mixture of home working and travel into the community around the Norwich area.
