We’re looking for a
practical and hands-on ER Advisor to support and coach on ER cases across our
Parks and Support Centre. You will also support and input into People Policies and ER activity.
Your
Opportunity:
To learn, develop and become an expert in a key area of the business by:
- Supporting all Leaders/Managers & People Partners on ER casework.Triaging all complex ER cases across Parks and Support Centre
- Coaching, influencing and mentoring leaders in management of all matters of employee relations, especially in relation to performance management, restructures and consultations, staff absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Working with People Partners to provide a consistency in ER approach
- Working closely with the Learning & Development team to devise and support delivery of appropriate training and training materials on all ER matters to line managers
- Supporting dispute resolution, including Liaising directly with ACAS Conciliators and working with our solicitors in preparation and risk management of Employment Tribunals
to bring:
- Awareness of the main ER People Policies (Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance, and Attendance) required within a business and their implications
- Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Legislation, Case Law, and be able to advise the business
- Experience managing a wide range of ER cases
- Experience of tribunals
- Appreciation and understanding of diversity and inclusion
